- Prepare 250 gram arhar dal
- Get 1 big potato
- Take 1/2 gourd
- Make ready 1 onion cut in to small pieces

- Get 2 spoon salt
- Prepare 1 spoon red chilli powder
- Take 2 spoon dry Mango powder
- Get 2 spoon mustard seeds
- Prepare to taste Imli ( tamarind) water

Steps to make Sambhar:
- Soak dal for 2 hours
- Peel potato and gourd now grated it take a pressure cooker now add dal and granted vegetables add 1sppon salt and one spoon turmeric powder nd2 glass water and cover the lid
- Boil it for 35 minutes
- Now take a pan heat and add oil and heat it add mustard seed add onion and tomato, add 1spoon salt, red chilli powder and dry Mango powder and imli water
- Add it in the boil vegetables cooker and cover the lid cook it for 10minutes
- Now sambhar is ready

You know nothing would disappoint you more to see a plate of puffy hot idlis or piping hot dosa without its must-have accompaniment-sambhar. what a yummy sambhar! love to have it with rice and some curd chilies. Ive not heard of keerai sambhar before. nutritious and yummy. The speciality of this sambhar is that it is made with minimal oil and loads of vegetables which enhance its nutritive value.
