- Heat water in a vessel, add apples and cinnamon. Cook until Apple softens
- In separate pan, melt 2-3 tbsp ghee. Fry cashews until golden brown. Take it out and keep it aside
- In same pan, add semolina, roast until aromatic.
- Add boiling water containing apples and mix well. Cook until semolina cooks. You can lightly mash apples in case you don't want to bite on pieces
- Add crushed saffron and mix well. Alternatively saffron can be added to boiling water and then added to Semolina
- Add sugar and remaining ghee and mix well. You can also add 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder for additional taste. Cook until it reaches consistency of sheera.
- Add in nuts and mix well
- Serve warm or cold as desired. Best served warm
