  1. Wash and soak rice for 1/2 hour.
  2. Now in a pan add ghee and add the salt and stir the rice for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add milk and take a boil.
  4. Reduce flame and keep stirring in between.
  5. Once the milk has reduced a little add the masalas to it.
  6. Cook till the rice softens.
  7. Add sugar and cook for some more time.
  8. Take ghee and ghee roast the dry fruits and add them it kheer.
  9. Remove from flame and add salt(optional)
  10. Cool for 3-4 hours and serve.
