- Take a pan, add 2 tsp ghee. Keep in low flame. Add 2 cups of desiccated coconut and roast with ghee for a minute. Ensure you don't burn or allow it's colour to change.
- Once it gets aromatic, add cardamom powder, condensed milk, rose syrup and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a different plate and divide in two portions. - Grease the tray with ghee and take the 1st portion and spread even in the tray. With the help of spatula or spoon spread evenly.
- Spread gulkand evenly on the first layer. Now on the same plate, gently press the mixture and slowly place it on gulkand layer. Level it using a spoon. - Allow it to cool for 5-10 mins.
