- Mix very well so that all the sugar dissolves.
- Next add sliced almonds mix well.
- Cook the kheer mixture for 3 to 4 minutes more till the sewiyan gets cooked and the milk thickens. when the sewiyan has softened and cooked well, the kheer will also thicken and look creamy.
- Switch off flame. Check the taste of sewiyan kheer and if required you can add some more sugar.
- Serve the sewiyan Kheer hot,warm or chilled.Garnish with almonds slices. you can garnish with some chopped nuts while serving.
- Do note that on cooling the kheer will thicken.Leftover kheer can be refrigerated and served later.
