  1. Get 1 cup Tur Daal
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup chana daal

  7. Take 1/4 tbsp haldi / turmeric powder

  12. Prepare 2 tbsp Coriander leaves

  14. Prepare 1/2 tbsp -tbsp cumin seeds
  15. Take 2 cloves garlic chopped
  16. Prepare 2 dry chill broken in to pieces
  17. Get 1 pinch Hing
  18. Prepare 1 tbsp Oil+Ghee
Steps to make Daal Tadka Curry:
  1. Rinse tur daal, chana daal in water and add them into pressure cooker. Add 2-cup water and salt and pressure cook for 4-whistles
  2. Heat 2-tbsp ghee, oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and saute until it turns light brown add ginger garlic paste. Saute 3-4 minutes
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and saute until it turns soft
  4. Add haldi powder and red chilli powder
  5. Add cooked dal and mix well
  6. Add 1-cup water and stir to mix add salt to taste
  7. Cook on medium flame until you get the desired consistency of daal
  8. Remove it from flame and transfer into a large bowl
  9. Prepare the tempering by heating 1–tbsp oil. Ghee ina small pan add cumin seeds, chopped garlic, dry red chilli and hing mix well and allow garlic to turn light brown
  10. Remove pan from flame and pour prepared tempering over cooked daal in a serving bowl.
  11. Garnishing with chopped Coriander and serve with jeera rice.
