The ingredients needed to make Gulab Jamun:
- Take 3/4 cup milk powder
- Prepare 1/2 cup maida
- Get 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Make ready 2 tbsp ghee
- Take as required Milk (as needed)

- Take for sugar syrup–
- Prepare 2 cups sugar
- Prepare 2 cups water
- Take 2 cardamons
- Get 1/4 tsp kesar
- Get 1 tsp lemon juice
Steps to make Gulab Jamun:
- In a bowl take a milk powder, maida and baking powder. Mix well
- Now add ghee and mix to make the flour moist. Also add milk to make a dough.
- Do not knead the dough. Cover and rest it for 10 minutes.
- Now prepare the sugar syrup using the above ingredients.
- Mix well and boil 5 minutes to make the sugar turns sticky.
- Turn off the flame and add 1 tsp lemon juice.
- Use the dough and pepare small ball sized jamuns.
- Now deep fry the jamuns in medium flame oil and stir continuously.
- Fry until the jamuns turn golden brown.
- Now transfer the jamuns into a hot sugar syrup.
- Cover and rest for 2 hrs until jamuns absorb the sugar syrup.
- You can also enjoy GULAB JAMUN with ice cream.
