- Wash dal and tamarind
- Add turmeric and all the ingredients
- Add tomatoes and then add 1 glass of water
- Cook for 10 min..bring 4 to 5 min until cooked
- Once cooked mash dal finely and add 1/2 glass of water and keep in a low flame until comes to boil
- Heat pan and add oil and add tadka
- Sauté till golden brown
- Add tadka to dal
- It’s ready serve with rice or paratha
