  13. Get As needed Backing soda
  14. Take 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

Instructions to make Veg, Tadka Idli:
  1. Take all vegetables and grate them. Take corn cob and cut into half then chopped directly to get finely chopped texture.
  2. Chopped the chilli and grate ginger. Add salt to batter and mix well.
  3. Into a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and let it crackle, then add asafoetida and chopped green chilli, grated carrot, cauliflower and finely chopped French beans. Mix well and add corn. Then add salt and ginger. Mix well and cook for a min.
  4. Wait for 5min to cool down a little, then add into batter and mix well. Add black pepper powder and chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Heat steamer, grease idali moulds with oil. Then add backing soda to batter, mix well and put 2 spoonful of batter into idali moulds. Let it steam for 8-10min and cool down a little.
  6. Remove from moulds and serve hot with lemon and chilli chutney & juice.
