Steps to make Besan patra:
- First remove the vein of colocassia leaf using sharp knife
- Clean the colocassia leaf on both the side hain muslin cloth
- For the besan mixture in one bowl combine all the ingredients in one bowl
- Mix it well till jaggery melt becoming smooth
- Place the colocassia leaf light green facing upward on clean flat surface
- Spread besan mixture by brush evenly
- Place the another colocassia leaf on it and again spread besan mixture
- Repeat this process one more time
- Roll it up tightly from one end to other end while applying a besan mixture in each fold
- Place all the roll in steamer cook for 20 minutes
- Keep aside to cool for 10 minutes
- Cut the rolls
- Heat the oil in pan add sesame seeds, mustard seeds,hing,
