  3. Heat oil in a kadahi, add cumin seeds, let it splutter and add potatoes, onion, ginger and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes and then add tomatoes, green chilli, salt and turmeric powder. When tomatoes are cooked, mash a little with spoon to make gravy. Now, add cooked chana along with water in the gravy and mix well. Add coriander powder and garam masala and water (if required). simmer cook covered for 3 minutes.
  4. Transfer aloo chana sabji in a bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or paratha.
