- Heat oil in a karahi and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions and asafetida. Sauté till onions turned transculent.
- Now add chopped tomatoes and saute till oil leaves the karahi.
- Serve hot with chapatti or rice.
