  1. Wash the lentils 4 times. Soak them in water for 10 minutes.Chop the tomato.
  2. In a pan add 4 cups of water. Boil it. Add lentils and tomato. Add a pinch of turmeric. Boil it for around 20 minutes.
  3. Make fine paste of green chillies and ginger by adding a spoon of water.
  4. In a pan, add ghee, heat it than add Asafoetida, cumin, red chillies and green chillies paste. Fry it for a minute. And Add boiled lentils. At last add salt as per taste.
