- Wash soaked basmati rice and keep it aside until needed.
- Heat ghee and oil together in a pressure cooker on low flame. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, elaichi, star anise, hing and saute for 30 sec. Add onion and saute for 2 to 3 min. Until it turn to light golden brown.
- Add chopped vegetables and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add soaked rice, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt..stir them for approx 2 min.
- Add 1 cup water and mix well. Close the lid and cook over low flame for 1 whistle.
- Turn off flame and let it be cool for room temperature. Open the lid add some paneer cubes.
- Transfer the dish into serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves.
