Heat oil and fry the potatoes.Then fry the lentil cakes till golden brown.Sprinkle cumin seeds and hing in leftover oil.When it crackles,add tomatoes and pinch of salt.Toss till soft.Add green peas and toss.Then add ginger paste,sabzi or aloo dum masala,fennel seed powder,tomato puree,turmeric,red chilli powder,salt and sugar to taste.Fry all.Add malai or cream and 1/2 cup water.Boil and add the dhoka or lentil cakes.Add 1/4 th cup water more as these cakes absorb water.
  3. Sprinkle chopped coriander and garam masala and toss.Serve Dhokar Dalna with steamed rice,jeera rice,luchi or any Indian flat bread.
