- Take a pan add ghee, milk and milk powder now switch on the flame.
- Make a thick paste in continuously stirring for 4 to 5 min than switch off the flame.
- Now let it cool for 5 min than add all-purpose flour and baking powder and 1 tbsp water and mix it with your palm and make a smooth dough.(no lumbs).
- Now make a sugar syrup of 1 string comsistency. (one cup water plus 11/2 cup sigar)
- Now make small balls out of it and fry it in oil or ghee at low medium flame till golden brown colour and dip these balls in a sugar syrup for 1 hr

In parties, weddings and even in Indian thalis, gulab jamun happens to be one of the desserts served after the meals. SUGGESTIONS Don't add too much maida in milk powder mawa, as doing so can make gulab jamun hard. Before frying the gulab jamun, test them. For this fry one gulab jamun in. Gulab Jamuns can also be made using milk powder but I prefer the jamuns made with khoya, taste just the best.
