  1. First of all heat ghee or oil in a heavy bottom pan or pressure cooker the crackle dried red chillies, peppercorns, black cardamom, cumin, asafoetida and add mutton. Cook mutton on high flame for 10-15 mins on high flame till now it turn a little brown. Meanwhile take curd and whisk with refined flour then add salt, fennel powder, coriander powder,ginger powder, saffron milk and kashmiri red chillies powder for colour, saute for a while then add 1/2 cup water and slow cook on pot
  2. Around 1 1/2 hours till mutton is properly cooked alternatively i pressure cooked for about 20/25 minutes. After mutton is done add garam masala and finely chopped cilantro. Serve hot with rice and butter naan.
