- Make ready 1 cup chana dal / bengal gram
- Prepare 1 inch Ginger
- Make ready 2 Green Chilli
- Prepare 1 tsp Cumin(jeera)
- Prepare 2 tbsp Coriander (finely Chopped)
- Make ready 1 tbsp Curry leaves (finely chopped)
- Get 1/2 tsp Salt
- Take as needed Oil for frying
- Get 1 small onion
Instructions to make Chana Dal Vada:
- Take a bowl add dal and water and soak it 2 hours
- After,2 hours wash well and drain off the water on to the dal. And rest for 20 minutes
- Next. take a blender add soaked chana dal, ginger, green chilli,and add cumin seeds.and blend.
- Blend the dal to coarse paste. And transfer the dal mixture on to the bowl and than add into onion (chopped), coriander leaves,and curry leaves. Mix all of the ingredients to well combined.
- Heat oil in a Kadai……when the oil is medium hot mix salt to the dal mixture and mix well.
- Make small balls and press between the palm and make vada.
- Deep fry in medium flame till vada cooked well….so the tasty chana dal bada is ready to serve…..have with hot tea :). Enjoy!!
