  1. Soak chana daal for an hour,& boil it with lauki in cooker adding Bay leaf salt,turmeric powder for 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 mimiutes remove it from the flame.
  3. Heat the pan add ghee.put cumin seeds,let it crackle.add ginger,garlic and saute it.
  4. Add onion & Fry it until Golden brown.add tomatoes cook it
  5. Add all dry spices & mix it.Add cooked dal let it boil.
  6. Tempering it with 1 tsp ghee,red chilli,Hing.
  7. Add black cardamom and mint powder.
  8. Remove it from the flame.
  9. Arrange it in a serving bowl.
  10. Garnish it with ginger Julian & green coriander & mint leaves.
  11. Now an aromatic daal is ready to serve.
