The ingredients needed to make Cabbage Dal Vada:
  1. Get 3/4 cup gram dal
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup Mogar Moog Dal
  3. Get 1/4 cup chopped cabbage
  4. Take 1 green chilli chopped
  5. Prepare 1/2" piece of ginger chopped
  6. Get To Taste Salt
  7. Get 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  8. Make ready 8-10 Curry leaves chopped
  9. Take As needed Ghee
Instructions to make Cabbage Dal Vada:
  1. Mix gram dal & mogar moong dal in a bowl and wash it properly and soak it for 4-hrs. After 4-hrs. grind coarsely in mixer grinder with chilli ginger. Add salt asafoetida, Cabbage & chopped curry leaves, mix well.
  2. Heat Appe pan pour little ghee into each hole and drop batter in each hole with spoon till top, again pour little ghee on top and sides. Cover with lid and cook both sides till brown and crispy on slow flame.
  3. Serve Healthy, Tasty Apple Dal Vada with green Chutney.
