- Make ready 1 tbsp udad daal
- Prepare 1 tbsp whole mung (green gram)
- Make ready 3-4 leftover roti

Instructions to make Chinese idli from roti and daal:
- Wash and soak udaal and whole green gram overnight. (U can soak daal for half an hour if forget at night.)
- In grinding jar add hand crushed roti, daal and green gram, ginger, green chilli, garlic, cabbage, salt, black pepper powder, soy sauce and red chilli sauce. Churn for a min. Then transfer into a bowl. And add oil and curd, mix well and add suji, mix well and let it soak water. (Make sure the batter should be very thick, b'coz crushed cabbage will release their oun water.) Then only add water if needed. (U can replace suji with oats, nd make it very healthier version of it.)
- Meanwhile put steamer on medium to high heat for preheating for 6-7min. Transfer batter into another bowl I'the ther is more batter, and add backing soda and mix well. Then add to steamer and steam for 9-10min on medium heat.
- Add to your kids tiffin box, and give some ketchup, or they can enjoy as it is.
- NOTE - Kids are very choosy for their taste. so I mixed the roti, daal, sprouts, and veggies, and give some flavor with 2 spoons of sauces. You can modify with it as per your kids choice. You can make tomato flavour, only veggies with seasoning of noodle, with stuffing of cheese, do grate cheese and with oily hand give shape of small idli with grated cheese and softly push it into idli while put to steaming.
