- Soak Chaana daal for 3 to 4 hours.
- Boil Daal add cinnamon stick, black pepper and cloves in enough water, drain and keep aside.
- Now fry oinon in oil till golden brown add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and all spices expect garam masala.
- Fry for 5 to 6 minutes, and then add boiled daal and half cup water.
- Dam for 5 minutes. then sprinkle garam masala, fresh coriander leaves and green chilli.
- Daal is ready for tarka
- Fry oinon in oil till golden brown add zeera and then pour over the prepared daal.
