  1. Get Bottle gourd 200 gms
  2. Get 2 tablespoons Besan
  3. Get 2 Onions

  6. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon jeera
  7. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  8. Get 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder

  10. Take 1 glass Water
  11. Get to taste Salt according
  12. Prepare as needed Oil for frying
  13. Take as needed Cream/malai for garnishing
  14. Prepare 1 tbsp Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions to make Lauki kofta:
  1. Peel and grate bottle gourd in a bowl and add besan, salt 1/2 teaspoon, chopped green chilli and curd to it. Mix all well. Now make small balls of this mixture.
  2. Now heat oil in a pan. Fry these balls till golden brown colour.
  3. Take these balls out from this oil. Now take 1 tablespoons oil and heat it, add jeera, ginger garlic paste and saute it, add onion paste and again saute till it gets light brown colour. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt to it. Now add tomato paste and saute for 2 mins at low flame.
  4. Now add water to gravy and let it boil for 1 min. Then add kofta balls to it. Cook for 2 mins.
  5. Garnish with cream and coriander leaves and serve hot.
