  2. Get 1 cup besan
  3. Get 1/4 cup curd
  4. Make ready 1/4 cup oil
  5. Prepare 1 chopped green chilli
  6. Take 1/4 tsp each saunf, ajwain, sabut dhaniya. Jeera seeds
  7. Prepare handful Green coriander leaves
  8. Get as required Salt, red chilli powder
  9. Prepare Pinch hing (asafoietida) and turmeric powder

  11. Take 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  12. Take 1 cup curd
  13. Take 2 tomatoes puréed
  14. Make ready 1 green chilli
  15. Take 2 dry red chillies
  16. Make ready as required Salt, pepper powder,turmeric powder and, dhaniya powder
  17. Take 1 tbsp desi ghee
  18. Get 1/4 tsp each Cumin seeds, mustard seeds and, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds for tadka
  19. Prepare Pinch asafoietida
  20. Get 1 tsp kasuri methi
  21. Make ready for garnishing Coriander leaves
  22. Get For filling:
  23. Make ready 1 tbsp fresh cream
  24. Take few raisins
  25. Take 2 figs finely chopped
Steps to make Govind Gatte:
  1. Take a pan and heat 3-4 glass of water and pour 1 tbsp ghee and 1 tbsp of buttermilk
  2. Now mix all the ingredients of Govind gatte and make a dough. Pour little water if required otherwise curd will be sufficient for it. Mix raisins and figs in fresh cream
  3. Now take a small portion of the dough and flatten it with your palm. Put some raisins mixture and roll it to make a modal like shape. Make all the gattas by repeating this process
  4. Boil all these gattas in boiling water. The gattas will float upside when ready
  5. Now heat oil in a pan and fry ready gattas till golden brown
  6. Now take a pan heat desi ghee and put saunf, jeera, rai. Dry red chilli, curry patta and splutter. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes and add curd and stir continuously. After a boil comes add tomato purée and dry masalas and cook until ghee leaves the pan. Add fried gattas and mix well
  7. Add boiled water in which we've boiled the gattas to the gravy and cook for 10-15 minutes
  8. Put kasuri methi and green coriander leaves and serve hot with jeera rice and chapatis. Green chutney and mix fruits Raita will be the best accomplishment to the thali
