  1. Prepare 1 ltr Full cream milk

  12. Make ready Few rose petals

Steps to make Thandai:
  1. Soak almonds, cashew,melon seeds, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, pistachios, pepper in water for atleast 3 hrs
  2. Drain all water
  3. Add little milk and cardmom to soaked ingredients and grind this to a smooth paste
  4. Bring milk to to a boil add saffron and mix well
  5. When the milk begins to boil add sugar and simmer till sugar melts
  6. Add grinded paste to milk and mix well. Boil for 10 mins
  7. Switch off the flame
  8. Chill the milk & serve
  9. Garnish with some rose petals and saffron strands

Bhang Thandai or Bhang ki thandai is a mildly intoxicating beverage prepared with the flower heads and buds of cannabis. Her thandai recipe was a hit in the neighborhood, and everyone just loved it.
