The ingredients needed to make Gulab Jamun:
- Make ready 1 litre Milk
- Take 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Get 1 tablespoon Maida
- Take 1/4 tablespoon Baking powder
- Prepare 3 pieces Cardamom
- Get 2 cups Sugar
Instructions to make Gulab Jamun:
- Take a karahi, add 500ml milk and star boiling. After it's starts boiling, add lemon juice to make it chana. After making chana, wash it properly and hang it for 2 hrs to remove all water.
- In another karahi, take 500 ml milk, boiled it and stir it continously to make khowa. After making khowa, keep it for one hours to cool it properly.
- In another karahi add one cup water and two cups sugar and sir it. Add cardamom into it and stir it to make sugar syrup and kept it aside.
- Now add chana, khowa, maida, cardamom and dust baking powder and then mix it properly. Press the mixture with hands for 10-15 minutes. After that make small balls.
- Take a karahi and add ghee. Heat it and fry the small ball. Add this fried ball into sugar syrup and kept it for 10 minutes in low flame. Then serve it.
