Instructions to make Thandai:
  1. To prepare thandai paste/ masala
  2. Soak poppyseeds in little water for 30mins.Grind cinnamon, cloves and peppercones…in marble hand grinder.
  3. Grind almonds, pistachios,cashewnuts,fennel seeds, cardamoms seeds and saffron in mixer grinder jar..add grinded cinnamon, cloves, peppercones powder..also add soak poppyseeds..again grind in mixer.
  4. In big vessel..pour 1/2 litre cold milk add sugar,blend with boss hand blender for 2 mins..add prepared thandai paste/masala..again blend for few minutes.
  5. Add nutmeg powder to it.Mix well.Keep refrigerate for 3-4 hours…to chill.
  6. Pour prepared chilled thandai in 4 glasses.. garnish with chopped almonds, pistachios, saffron flakes.Serve and relish…this nutritious Thandai.
