Instructions to make Thandai Custard:
- Take all milk in a heavy-bottomed pan and bring it to boil.
- Then simmer the gas, and let the milk boil for another 10 minutes. Keep stirring continuously.
- Now add custard powder in half cup water to make a lump free paste.
- Now add this to the milk with one hand while stirring milk continuously with another hand.
- This will ensure no lumps are formed.
- Bring milk to boil once, and let it simmer dor another 10 minutes.
- Now allow the custard to cool at room temperature.
- Once cooled, gradually add thandai syrup to the custard to make the custatd as sweet as you like. I used approx 3 tablespoons.
- No need to add sugar in this recipe.
- Now refrigerate for 5 hours.
- Put in the pomegranate seeds.
- Serve chilled.
