The ingredients needed to make Thandai:
- Make ready 11/2 Cup Thandai masala
- Make ready 2 litres milk
- Take 20-25 saffron strands
- Get as required ice cubes
- Prepare 2 cups sugar

Steps to make Thandai:
- Soak the thandai masala and almond for 6-7 hours.
- Now make a thin paste of masala on a stone which we call Sill batta in hindi. Separately Make a paste of almonds also.
- Boil the milk in between and sugar. Allow it to cool completely.
- Now strain the mixture by adding milk on a thin cloth.
- Soak the saffron strands in milk and then pour it into thandai.
- Refrigerate it. At the time of serving serve by adding ice cubes.
