Garlic onion gravy is my mom's special gravy which taste excellent whenever she prepares it. She prepares it very often and also gravy will be slightly watery. Poondu Kuzhambu is a very healthy, delicious, spicy, authentic and traditional kuzhambu of TamilNadu. It is a tamarind based gravy with lots of garlic and perfect balance of spices. (The gravy master is optional, but it does give the easy mushroom gravy a dark, rich appearance.) Steps to make Garlic gravy:
  1. In a pan add oil now add 15 garlic fry till it turns to golden brown
  2. In same pan add 1 tpsn of mustard,cumin seeds and 1/2 tpsn of fenugreek
  3. Add chopped onion
  4. Add curry leaves and dry chilli
  5. Cook onion till it turns to golden brown add chopped garlic and cook well
  6. Add onion paste
  7. Add tomato paste
  8. Add 1/2 tspn of turmeric powder
  9. Mix well and add 1 tpsn of chilli powder
  10. Salt for taste
  11. Mix everything well and add tamarind water
  12. After it boils well add fried garlic
  13. Add when oils comes up from gravy add coriander
  14. Our GARLIC GRAVY IS READY
